May 11 | International Migratory Bird Day
The Big Bear Discovery Center will be holding several activities to celebrate our spring birds and educate visitors on conservation efforts to protect them. Activities include birdhouse building, bird crafts, nature walks, bird walks, and StoryTime.

May 18 | The Glorious Gift of Birds
Sara Andon joins the Symphony for an evening of graceful masterpieces, including Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake. Come for “the greatest classical ballet ever written” and stay for the astonishing Cantus Arcticus – written from Nordic birdsong.

May 18-19 | Hangar 24 Airfest
Hanger 24 Airfest will feature a spectacular air show, live music, food vendors, kids’ zone and a wide selection of Hangar 24 craft beer.

May 25 | Chili Cook-Off & Car/Cycle Show
Enjoy chili and other foods, live music, a beer garden, a kids’ zone, vendors and classic cars. New this year will be a new citrus-inspired BBQ class, paying tribute to Arlington’s rich citrus heritage.

May 27 | Annual Memorial Day Flower Drop & Air Fair
This Memorial Day celebrate with a flower drop ceremony: military planes will drop thousands of red and white carnations to honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice. There will also be flight exhibitions throughout the day, live music, children’s activities, food vendors, and a beer garden.

Every Thursday | Redlands Market Night
Established in 1988, Redlands Market Night has established itself as one of the most successful certified farmers markets in Southern California! Vendors vie to participate in the event that has attracted thousands of weekly visitors since its inception. Visitors are welcomed into an inviting atmosphere complete with lighted trees, brick sidewalks, historic buildings, and great musical entertainment. Crowds are pleasantly surrounded by over 150 food and merchandise booths, not to mention the downtown shopkeepers, every Thursday night.
