There is no admission charge to attend the performances at the Redlands Bowl Summer Music Festival! In order to present fine music and dance programs for the enjoyment of everyone, a freewill offering is collected at the break prior to intermission, and audience members are asked to donate according to their ability.

July 4 | Redlands Fourth of July Celebration

Each year the citizens of Redlands band together to celebrate Independence Day in grand fashion. The Redlands Fourth of July Committee works tirelessly throughout the year to plan a fun filled day for the entire family. The day begins with a picnic at beautiful Sylvan Park with food, games and music, followed by one of the most spectacular celebrations in the State of California at the University of Redlands’ Ted Runner Stadium. The live show and opening ceremonies include a flag ceremony and flyovers, followed by skydivers and musical performances and ending with a fireworks finale. Advance tickets and commemorative T-shirts are sold at various locations, including the Redlands City Clerk’s Office at City Hall, 35 Cajon St.

July 4 | Yucaipa Fourth of July Celebration and Fireworks Show

If you’re in Yucaipa, celebrate the Fourth of July with fireworks, live music by James Rensink, and food. Gates open at 4pm and close at 8:30pm.

July 8, 15, 22, 29 | Summer Concerts

The best part of summer is that the Community Services Department rolls out the annual Summer Concert Series. Not only do you get to enjoy all the fun in the sun, you also get to spend Sunday afternoons at the Yucaipa Community Park while listening to great music with friends and family! Visitors come from far and wide to see the bands perform during the Concert Series. It is a time for a peaceful community gathering and fabulous tunes.

July 11, 18, and 25 | Movies in the Park

Summer “Movies in the Park” is the perfect time to gather your kids enjoy a night out. The movies are free to the public! We hope Yucaipian’s will take this opportunity to come out and enjoy a fun-filled evening. Although the movie begins at dusk, attendees are encouraged to arrive early to picnic, play, and find a good viewing spot.  Picnic blankets and beach chairs are recommended and there will be vendors selling snacks and drinks. Movie re-runs will be played at the 7th Street Pool on Thursday nights.

The Montecito International Music Festival will be held at La Sierra University July 8 – 27 and will include free concerts featuring world-class artists including Grammy-nominated musicians Andrés Cárdenas, viola, pianist Jean-Yves Thibaudet and violinist Cho-Liang Lin. Every Thursday | Redlands Market Night

Established in 1988, Redlands Market Night has established itself as one of the most successful certified farmers markets in Southern California! Vendors vie to participate in the event that has attracted thousands of weekly visitors since its inception. Visitors are welcomed into an inviting atmosphere complete with lighted trees, brick sidewalks, historic buildings, and great musical entertainment. Crowds are pleasantly surrounded by over 150 food and merchandise booths, not to mention the downtown shopkeepers, every Thursday night.
