Nov. 29 – January 6 | Festival of Lights

Southern California’s signature event The Mission Inn Hotel and Spa Riverside Festival of Lights welcomes guests to experience holiday lights and decorations, live entertainment and lots of goodies in Downtown Riverside. The Riverside Festival of Lights is a time-honored tradition for generations of Southern California residents.

Saturdays | Redlands Walking Tour

The Redlands Visitor Center offers a guided history tour of Downtown every Saturday at 10am. The 10 AM Saturday morning walking tour, led by one of the knowledgeable volunteer guides, is approximately 90 minutes and covers 6 blocks of downtown Redlands. In addition to providing historical information, the tour will also spotlight many of the small, local businesses that help make Redlands unique.

Advanced reservations required. Purchase tickets at the Redlands Visitor Center 14 N. Fifth Street (open 11am – 5pm Monday – Saturday, 11am – 3pm Sunday).

Jan. 12 – 14 | Riverside Home and Garden Show

Join fellow home owners and stroll the aisles of exhibit halls looking for ways to improve their homes. Shows feature displays and exhibits of the latest ideas in home improvement, remodeling, interior-design, decorating and landscaping. In addition, provide educational and informative seminars and demonstrations designed to help homeowners enhance the beauty and the value of their homes.

Jan. 18 | String Serenade

Bask in the lush beauty of the Redlands Symphony strings with three works filled with beauty and joy.

Gorgeous melodies and catchy dance tunes blend together in Gustav Holst’s St. Paul’s Suite, leading up to the composer’s stirring take on “Greensleeves,” the beloved English folk song. Next, you’ll enjoy the evocative strains of Ravel’s String Quartet, arranged for full string orchestra by our own Music Director, Ransom Wilson. The spirit of Mozart brings our evening to a lyrical conclusion in Tchaikovsky’s Serenade for Strings, featuring one of the composer’s most popular waltzes.

Jan. 25-26 | Riverside Lunar Festival

At the Riverside Lunar Festival, there will be over 100+ food and merchandise vendors, spectacular live performances, and fun Lunar surprises. Best of all entry is FREE! Be sure to check out the Lion Dancers, Chinese instrument orchestra, and Shaolin Kung Fu.

Every Thursday | Redlands Market Night

Established in 1988, Redlands Market Night has established itself as one of the most successful certified farmers markets in Southern California! Vendors vie to participate in the event that has attracted thousands of weekly visitors since its inception. Visitors are welcomed into an inviting atmosphere complete with lighted trees, brick sidewalks, historic buildings, and great musical entertainment. Crowds are pleasantly surrounded by over 150 food and merchandise booths, not to mention the downtown shopkeepers, every Thursday night.
