Historic Homes in Redlands, CA | Video Tour

Take a virtual walk down Alvarado Street in Redlands, California, and tour our area’s  historical homes with the Redlands Historical Society.

Alvarado St in Redlands boasts several historical Craftsman homes. While most are solidly architecturally Craftsman, every one of these historic homes has its own individual building and design features that makes each unique.

Tom Atchley led us in a walking tour of the Alvarado Street neighborhood, starting at the intersection of Alvarado Street and Palm Avenue, down Alvarado to Home Place and back up — featuring some of the best examples of Redlands Craftsman architecture built in the 1920′s.

Tom shared some amazing information about these homes, please let us know if you would like any details. Do you have an older home in Redlands and would like to know its background? We would love to share the information with you. Please contact Thomas Jackson at 951-232-9704 for requests.

The Redlands Historical Society facilitates historical walks, lectures, and information about the city of Redlands, CA and Redlands history. Their website can be found at rahs.org. I recommend checking out their tours, lectures and all that they have to offer, if you would like more information on the history of Redlands and our area.
